The first thing any Treo 600 review is going to point out to readers is how much like a phone this PDA cell phone looks and feels. And it's so easy to use - just like a phone, you can use it with one hand. The previous model looked and felt more like a conventional PDA. Another point any self-respecting Treo 600 review will point out, is that the manufacturers, Handspring, have got rid of that awful flip-top lid from previous models. Another Treo 600 review I read recently argued that one doesn't really know what this device is: phone or PDA. It looks like a phone and acts like a PDA. But this Treo 600 review argues: 'Does it matter?' The Treo 600, which runs the Palm OS, is a cell phone that acts like a PDA when you need it, or vice versa. It combines the best of both worlds in a sleek and elegant casing. It also functions as game pad, word processor, MP3 player, radio, camera, and web browser. While some Treo 600 reviews argue that it's heavier than other makes, I would describe its slight extra weight compared to its predecessor as solid. When you're looking at combining cell and PDA functions, surely you want something a bit weightier than the tiny, flimsy cell phones that at one stage were all the rage, when manufacturers competed to offer the smallest phone. That's called gimmicky. In fact, the Tree 600 is a little narrower than the Treo 300, so it fits even more comfortably in the palm of your hand. And on the street, customer reviews are thumbs up.
