What is a Pocket PC theme? They are PDA files with a '.tsk' extension that can be displayed on your Pocket PCs desktop or background. Pocket PC themes give your Personal digital assistant a different and unique look and feel. It is pretty easy to find PDA themes on the Internet, as they are usually available for free. Many websites offer hundreds of themes that can be downloaded pretty quickly as the files size is usually very small. Well-designed PPC theme websites will show you which files are most popular and downloaded by a lot of people. You should note that the idea of a PocketPC theme was first released on 4th October 2001 in which it came out on the Microsoft's PocketPC 2002 operating system. Therefore PPCs prior to this date, that are on an earlier operating systems, will need to purchase a piece of software called Pocket Facelift, by Novosec. This software will allow your PPC, such as an E-125, to also display themes. If you are interested in making your own theme, then download the freeware piece of software called 'Theme Generator'. Many new themes come out during Holidays such as Christmas and Easter, so you can download and install these and personal digitals assistants' appearance will now reflect the season.
