PDA Themes - find out what they are.

PDA themes (sometimes called Personal digital Assistant themes) are basically PDA files with the extension '.tsk'. The .tsk file is an image file that is loaded onto your Pocket PC desktop/workspace. Whenever you are working with your Pocket PC the image (a PDA theme) is displayed in the background.

You can find many free PPC themes on the internet and if you have your own personal picture you can fairly easily convert it into a '.tsk' file and display it on your PPC. The best way to create your own themes is to use a freeware piece of software called 'Theme Generator'.

You should also keep an eye out for the most downloaded themes. These are themes that are really popular and many people have downloaded. Also, around Christmas and other holidays, you can find themes that contain the 'theme' for that season, such as Santa Clause, bells etc.

You will find the Internet contains literally thousands of themes and some sites even have animated themes such as swimming fish. Many Internet sites will let you upload your favorite themes for others to download. If you are a theme connoisseur, then you can get packages to change your themes automatically and even change them at set times.
