The Palm Tungsten T3 is a great alternative to the larger Pocket PCs. It has many information sharing and efficiency enhancing applications. The Palm Tungsten T3 comes with 64MB RAM (52 MB actual storage capacity) and has a 32-bit, 400Mhz Intel Xscale processor. It is loaded with the Palm OS v5.2.1. This Tungsten runs on Palm OS v5.2.1. A cool feature of the Palm Tungsten T3 is that you can slide down the bottom of the T3's case to expose the full screen mode. The standard Palm Graffiti input area is replaced by a digital version; this can be concealed to expose an even large screen. When writing you don't actually need the Graffiti area to input data, in the full screen mode, you can write Graffiti characters anywhere on the screen. The T3 also has the ability to rotate the screen into landscape mode for elongated viewing. What sort of wireless technology comes with the Palm Tungsten T3? Bluetooth is built in and includes BlueBoard and BlueChat. These two technologies are user for sharing files, data and information with other Tungsten users. You can surf the web using WebBrowser Pro and read email with VersaMail, but you are required to have a Bluetooth phone. VersaMail can also be used to access Lotus and Microsoft Exchange servers and corporate e-mail accounts. Whether you want the the Palm Tungsten T3 for business or home use, it is a great mix of technology, functionality and wireless connectivity and is recommend as a solid PDA with excellent expandability options.
