A wireless PDA is, well, basically cool. It gives you total freedom to access files, e-mails and the Internet without cords. Lets face it; PDAs are designed to be mobile and who likes to be tethered to a cord like a leash. For example you can be anywhere in your house, pull your wireless PDA out of your pocket, check emails and then return to whatever you were doing. To set up a wireless network can be very simple, just plug a wireless router in and configure your wireless PDA or laptop. This saves you having to drill holes in all your walls and lifting up carpets to rewire your entire home or office. Nowadays we are not just restricted to surfing your wireless PDA at homes or in the office, when we want to go wireless. A marketing buzzword being thrown around is "WiFi Hotspots". These give you the ability to access wireless information while you are in the WiFi Hotspot. Today some large Hotel chains, Starbucks and many other companies offer you the ability to connect to their wireless Internet. You will see more and more companies advertising hotspots and if you are lucky it will be for free, but there is often an hourly or monthly charge associated with it. These hotspots can be great for checking your emails when on holiday or on business trips.
