The Palm IIIc - what to expect.

The Palm IIIc is a color screen version of the incredibly popular Palm III, no longer is it a monotone world. The screen is an 8 bit, 160 x 160 pixel color backlit display that offers easy to read and clear images. So what else does the Palm IIIc have to offer? An address book, date book, to do list, mail, memo pad, calculator, and expense tracker and with 8 MB of RAM this is more than ample for the average user.

What does the Palm IIIc come with?

  • Palm IIIc and Metal stylus
  • HotSync cradle for synchronizing
  • Lithium rechargeable battery
  • Battery charger
  • Organizer software
  • Protective flip up lid

On board the Palm IIIc is an Infrared port that enables you to beam (or transfer) files to other infrared enabled devices (such as laptops) quickly and easily. This Palm model is also capable of using a modem (available separately as an add on) and can connect to the Internet using TCP/IP software.

As Palm is one for the most popular operating systems for PDAs, you shouldn't overlook the immense amount of third party software and applications that have been written for the Palm and that will run on the Palm IIIc.
