This PDA has a 320x320 transfective color screen for displaying information, photos, video and more, with lively color and super sharp clarity. The Palm Tungsten E comes with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint compatibility, giving you the ability to create and edit Microsoft documents. You can also synchronize the Outlook calendar, tasks, contact, notes and email. The Palm Tungsten E weighs in at 4.6 oz and is therefore lighter than previous models. The dimensions are 3.5 x 3.1 x 0.5 inches and it comes with a headphone jack and multimedia audio support that allows you to play MP3s in high quality sound. There is 32 MB RAM (28.3 MB user accessible) which allows more room for applications and expansion slots, enabling you to store extra files and data if necessary.
A new feature that has been added to the Palm Tungsten E is the ability to run Java applications. The Palm pilot comes with a few small sample applets, but it looks like we will need to wait for more development before Java is a full Palm OS programming language.
